Good Guide Overall
This guide has almost everything you would want from a game guide. It's well organized, thorough, looks good, and will help you through most pinches you can get yourself into in halo. If you've played any of the halo games, then let's face it. You already know how to play. The guide doesn't assume anything though, and makes sure that you know how to do everything you need to know from the get-go. There are nice detailed maps for every multiplayer level, and the campaign walkthrough is nice and helpful. The only thing that this doesn't have is an area for skulls/easter eggs, but that's what the internets for, right? If you're looking for a halo 3 guide, get this one. You won't be disappointed.
Nice Book
Looks old (especially for an "old" game), but the pictures still look timeless for a beautiful game. I can almost hear that beautiful monk-chant while going through some of the pages
its a big game....
considering how massive some of the environs can be in the game, its fairly easy to get turned about. having a set of maps is a definite must. one feature I'll note for this, is the really good quality paperstock, the kind you expect to find on really good posters. a plus in my opinion. as always, useful not just for gaming.
halo 3 guide is a must for beginners of the series
Halo 3 is the first game to come to the x-box 360 and was a awesome game now it's cheap used so i had to get the guide which is done on medium and i beat the game on legendary it shows you where all the skulls are and it also comes with a poster.

Not just a guide...
As my other reviews, this is more than just a "guide". It's a nice narrative to the series. If your playing all the games, you are missing a lot if you don't purchase these books. The hard covers are especially nice.
not a gamer but....
I am not a "gamer" This was a purchase for my grandson at christmas. I am able to relate to his delight. Further, I feel that as intense as this game is the guide book was a good thing to include with the X-box and Halo game.Jamie says it is "way cool" with real great tips and tricks. I bet that you did not think that it was possible to get a big old bear hug from a 13 year old boy in front of his friends.
Good Game Guide/Book
Although I did not read this item/look it over personally, I had bought it for my son who was very, very excited to receive it. If that's any indication, I would say this has some definite cool-factor. Also a good item for those who are just plain 'ol totally into the games!! :-)
