This seems to be built as good as any K&N filter but for half the price. I wanted it in a 2.75 inch but only sold the 3 inch so I ordered and then got a hose clamp tightened it up fit great would buy again no problem

good for turbos

Still let’s in really fine dust but it’s on a 25 year old turbo motor and I don’t really care. If you care maybe get a nicer filter but it works for the junk I drive. It’s hooked directly to a HX35 turbo and has not been an issue

Easy install. Works great!

Easy install. For 2005 Hyundai Elantra didn't need anything additional. Just removed orignal air box, bought new hose clamp to support 3"+ diameter and clamped directly to the tube that goes to intake.

Durable rubber inlet

So i really needed a 6in fitting but had to make do with this 3in due to funding. The harder rubber made it very easy to adapt it to the 6 in fitting on my intake. With some ingenuity it fits almost perfct til i can afford the 50.00 filter i really need. Seems like a good durable filter compared to the original i had thay was a more flimsy rubber inlet. This item is a good buy.

This is definitely better than the "Generic Chinese knock-offs" I kept using for so long

I know this won't add horsepower and if not done right might even reduce performance (but that's a topic for other places). I noticed a deeper sound when I press the gas or open the throttle body manually while having the hood opened. and has no leaks as the Chinese 10 dollar knock-offs consist of two pieces stuck together and this one is a whole piece so the difference in craftsmanship is noticeable.

Good price, good filter

Had a K&N filter that just looked terrible and melted. Got this one for 20$ and it fit nicely my MASS housing. Likely will buy again a Spectre filter, never heard of them before but I like the price & the quality. Looks really good and solid.

Killer filter, off the wall price

I had a K&N filter on my machine, someone else thought they like it better and stole it. The thing cost me close to $100 bucks. I found these filters, there almost an exact replacement. Instead if the OD being 3 inches the ID is 3. No big deal a hose clamp and I am on the road or I should say in the dirt. I place the order and had it in 2 days, great service, I am impressed, the filter is killer, how needs the chrome ring I had on the one that was stolen. Killer design, made strong, looks great. MSS
